The blocks for this quilt is a very traditional block - but the sashings are pieced to provide secondary patterns. The undulating flying geese blocks in the border were fun to do and add an unusual touch to a traditional pattern. The main border fabric is a Christmas fabric for which it was named. It has very low contrast which makes it very warm and cozy.
